Since then, the Space Shuttle Program has transformed the way we explore space and look at the universe around us. From the construction and completion of the International Space Station to the amazing imagery captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, this reusable spacecraft has made world-renowned accomplishments. Join us for the [URL=http://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/space-shuttle-anniversary.aspx]Space Shuttle Program 30th Anniversary Celebration[/URL] at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on April 12, 2011 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. NASA officials and veteran space shuttle astronauts will highlight the accomplishments of this complex space vehicle, as well as the dedicated Kennedy Space Center workforce, during a public presentation in the Shuttle Plaza. Buddy Valastro, the baker featured on the TLC show Cake Boss, will make a special space shuttle-themed cake presentation in honor of this historic occasion. Enjoy music, face painting, educational activities and shuttle balloon art. Register to win a pair of VIP tickets to witness the historic launch of STS-135 space shuttle Atlantis. The 30th Anniversary Celebration is included with admission to the Visitor Complex.
